Wightlink ferry company offers 20 minutes foot passenger-only journeys via their Catamaran boat from Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier Head. There is a parking lot on the Pierhead, which makes pick-up and drop-off very easy.
Hovercraft Travel offers 10 minutes foot passenger-only journey via high-speed boat from Portsmouth Southsea to Ryde. Large parking lot attached to the Ryde Hovercraft station is again convenient for a pick-up or a drop-off.
For those who are not in a hurry or missed their foot passenger crossing, there is always a Wightlink Car ferry journey from Portsmouth Harbour to Fishbourne. We are happy to offer you a ride to or from the car ferry if needed.
